Class Description
In the days of Harald Bluetooth, a group of young Scandinavian men set out to build a settlement at Jom for the "bravest of warriors." This medieval Icelandic saga is a work of historical fiction, weaving together historically attested battles—as the kings of Norway and Denmark struggle to unify their realms from chiefdoms into kingdoms—with fictional warriors whose actions and poetry reveal the Viking ideals of courage and warfare.
