Bogklub 2: "Tor rejser og Balder dør"
Class Description
Jump into a little Norse Mythology with this advanced-beginning book. Travel with Tjalfe, the young lad, as he accompanies Thor on his travels. This book, specifically designed for adult learners of Danish at an advanced-beginning level, recounts some of the adventures of (thick-headed) Thor as he is outwitted and confounded by Udgård-Loke (not to be confused with Loki). Students will read aloud, translate with help, get useful feedback, and expand their vocabularies while enjoying a light-hearted tale. We will begin at the start of the book, so those who took this class in the summer should contact Melissa (425-773-5370) to arrange a discount on this class before signing up.
Cancellation Policy
Students can join this class by paying full tuition after the course starts. Students can cancel their booking online up to 24 hours before the class starts. They may also cancel anytime before the 2nd class by contacting SLI (425-773-5370/admin@scanlnag.org) and receive a full refund minus a small processing fee. After the 2nd class and before the 3rd class, students can request that their prorated tuition be applied to another current or future SLI class (any language or culture class). If the course is cancelled due to low enrollment, full refunds will be issued without a processing fee or students may opt to have their tuition held and applied toward another class.
