REGISTER for Bogklub 1 - ONLINE course
Class Description
Note that this is a REGISTRATION. You will be charged $1 now and you are obligated to pay the rest ($149) by invoice when it is sent shortly after July 1. This gives WA state students a chance to avoid sales tax, which will no longer be demanded by WA state after July 1. By paying $1 now, you are also agreeing to pay $149 later regardless of whether you decide to drop the class before then. (However, if you do drop the class before joining, the amount you pay for the class CAN be applied to any other future SLI class you like! Just contact us at admin@scanlang.org). Beginning Bogklub (book club) helps the beginning student to start understanding the spelling and pronunciation patterns of Danish and pair them with meanings. Each class focuses on imitation of very short sentences, gradually moving to "spontaneous" reading (reading aloud without imitating the teacher). In a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere, each student is given multiple opportunities to read and translate aloud with support from the instructor. Recommended for DAN 1B, and for DAN 1C students who have not taken it before. Those who have taken Bogklub 1 before are encouraged to take "Bogklub 2."

Cancellation Policy
Students can join this class by paying full tuition after the course starts. Students can cancel their booking online up to 24 hours before the class starts. They may also cancel anytime before the 2nd class by contacting SLI (425-773-5370/admin@scanlnag.org) and receive a full refund minus a small processing fee. After the 2nd class and before the 3rd class, students can request that their prorated tuition be applied to another current or future SLI class (any language or culture class). If the course is cancelled due to low enrollment, full refunds will be issued without a processing fee or students may opt to have their tuition held and applied toward another class.
