Bingo/Banko! IN-PERSON JULY 26 ($15)

Class Description

Yes, it's finally here! A chance to nail down those numbers while playing Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish Bingo (a.k.a. Banko). All levels are welcome! If you are a complete beginner or need a refresher in the Danish numbers, add on the "Danish Numbers" lecture happening 1 hour before the big Bingo/Banko games. Modest prizes from the Scandinavian Specialty Store, the SLI library, and the Nordic Museum will be awarded, and a good time will be had by all! Kom, snak, og hyg dig! (No tutorial will be offered for Norwegian/Swedish numbers. You will pick it up fairly quickly as you play - or you can partner up with a Scandinavian language learner and mooch off of them!) You are also welcome to come learn about those nutty Danish numbers even if you are learning Swedish or Norwegian :)
